Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

1 large onion, sliced
2 1/2 lb boneless pork loin roast
1/2 c. sugar
6 T. balsamic vinegar
4 T. soy sauce
2 T. ketchup
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
3-5 dashes of hot sauce

     Arrange onion slices on bottom of slow cooker and place roast over onions. In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients and pour over roast. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or on high 3-4 hours.
